There are many different ways of helping to support our contemplative life, here are just a few:

• Prayer!

  Please pray for us, that we be faithful to Gods call, for vocations to our community, and for providence for the needs of our life here in Lynton and in our mission priories throughout the world.

• Craft work

Are you looking for a gift for an occasion? Why not take a look at our hand made craft work on our crafts page?

• Practical help

Are you gifted with your hands? Would you be able to donate your time and talents to help restore our convent and its gardens?

• Groceries

We try to rely on providence for our food. Would you like to support us by joining our grocery rota? Donating a small amount regularly to help keep the community fed, or by bringing a bag of shopping to the convent?

• Donations

Perhaps you would like to make a donation to help sponsor one of our projects? It is now possible to make a donation online, via the “Give a little” website. Alternatively, cheques can be made payable to “Sisters of Mary Morning Star.”

• Standing orders

  There is also the possibility of making regular donations through standing orders. We can email you a form if you would like to help in this way.

If you are a UK tax payer you can gift aid your donation. Donating through Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It will not cost you any extra. Our gift aid form can be downloaded here.
